A host of brilliant chefs and restaurateurs regularly live and work here, but many visit here regularly to just taste. Of course this brings with it lots of ‘foodies’ too. We have a very active Slow Food Movement too. Some people buy into a slice of the Noosa Real Estate market to either eventually call home or their number one holiday destination. There’s no doubt that they are also attracted by the pristine beaches, access to national parks, great weather and a desirable lifestyle.
Because Noosa does food and wine very, very well, has a choice of family friendly beaches, superb rivers, national parks and strict development controls means that Noosa property will always be sought after.
How to choose where to dine? Well, you can’t. You will need to least take the time to try all Hasting Streets eateries. There’s a great choice of restaurants, bistros and café’s along the board walk where you will enjoy the view of Noosa main beach as much as the food. For a more casual setting, the Noosa Heads Surf Club is the place, which also enjoys the best view in the street.
Noosa is unquestionably the place to taste, dine, mingle and most of all, indulge. Then of course there is Noosaville – along Gympie Terrace and down Thomas Streets with everything on offer from a cheap n cheerful Thai to one of the best steaks in Queensland. Sunshine Beach also has a couple of superb restaurants. Coconut Grove is a favourite and of course Frattelinis Italian fare. It is no wonder so many people are seen heading to the beach for a swim or the national park for a walk – it has to be a bit about balance. Quite simply – the choice and quality of food in Noosa is remarkable – bon appétit!
