This area is heavily wooded with native trees and is prime habitat for birds and of course the inimitable native bush turkeys who often make the short trip into Hastings Street! "The Woods" is also a prime picnic and family barbeque spot. On the opposite side to the beach, Hastings Street is bordered by the pristine Noosa River as it meanders its way through the residential community of Noosa Sound. And finally, the "Paris" end of Hastings Street, where alfresco dining abounds, is abutted by the natural beauty of Little Cove - a small community amongst the natural gum trees that seamlessly blends into the Noosa National Park. It is easy to see why Noosa and Hastings Street in particular is a unique and beautiful place.
